Frank Garner Boat House

Frank Garner was the first coach at Cheema, his commitment over the years has been instrumental in the success of our club. When naming the new building, Frank was an obvious choice. Construction began in April 2013 and was completed by June. The building replaced a small hut that had been in place since 1971. The new building boasts three times the boat storage space, a weight room facility, a viewing area and two offices for coaches.

The construction of the building could not have been done without the support from community partners, members and families of the club. We are grateful for donations of materials, time and expertise to complete the project at the lowest possible cost. We are proud of our boathouse and we thank the following for their generosity.
